Jason Wessinger
Built on Experience, Built to Last.

I’ve been drawn to building things for as long as I can remember. I got my start in my grandfather’s workshop, learning how to use tools and build with my own hands before I was even a teenager. By my early 20s, I was framing houses, and at 22 I earned my contractor’s license. Over the next two decades, I went on to build more than 300 homes throughout North Florida, including a 2020 Parade of Homes Gold Award–winning home.

 

Wakulla Concrete grew out of that experience. After years of building homes and depending on concrete crews who didn’t always show up, communicate, or meet the standards I expected, I decided to do it myself. What started with a box truck and some tools grew into the company we have today.

 

After more than 20 years in construction, I still believe in the same things I learned when I was young: show up when you say you will, pay attention to the details, take pride in your work, and build something that lasts. Whether we’re pouring a driveway, slab, patio, or a much larger project, I want every customer to feel confident that we did the job right.
